Check out this super weird ass fish!

“Researchers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute recently solved the half-century-old mystery of a fish with tubular eyes and a transparent head. Ever since the “barreleye” fish Macropinna microstoma was first described in 1939, marine biologists have known that its tubular eyes are very good at collecting light. However, the eyes were believed to be fixed in place and seemed to provide only a “tunnel-vision” view of whatever was directly above the fish’s head. A new paper by Bruce Robison and Kim Reisenbichler shows that these unusual eyes can rotate within a transparent shield that covers the fish’s head. This allows the barreleye to peer up at potential prey or focus forward to see what it is eating.”

Happy Friday the 13th!!!
In recognition of Friday the 13th being released on Friday the 13th I have posted a wonderfully made compilation of every Jason kill from all of his films, including Freddy Vs. Jason.
I love number 29 from Friday the 13th Part 3…eyeballs always make that sound when forced out of a human skull. But my favorite is number 148 from Jason X, when he freezes the chicks face in liquid nitrogen and then smashes it on the counter. Tell us what your favorites are!

Looks like they’re moving ahead with the Hellraiser remake. Concept photos for Pinhead’s makeup have been released and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I guess they want to update him but I’m not really digging the new look. I guess they haven’t strayed too far from the original, but the deep gashes make Pinhead look like a reject from the SAW series. And his pins aren’t really pins anymore, they’re nails. Overall he’s just too messy. Maybe I just don’t like the model that the makeup is on; he has zero personality. I suppose it’s still a work in progress and we’ll see the final product eventually. Recently released audio has The Dark Knight star Christian Bale, delivering a profanity-laced tirade during the filming of Terminator Salvation. This verbal thrashing was aimed toward the film’s cinematographer, Shane Hurlbut. Apparently, Hurlbut walked through a scene during filming and through Bale’s line-of-sight (an industry no-no). This distracted Bale and he let the cinematographer have it by belittling him for his lack of professionalism.
Some say Bale was right in acting the way he did and that the “amateur” cinematographer had done it multiple times. Others say Bale is just a Hollywood baby who wants everything his way and shouldn’t treat someone like that regardless of who they are. You be the judge….You can check out the audio at tmz.com
