It’s F-F-F-F-F-Finally here! I know you’ve been waiting years for it. The Max Headroom: The Complete Series is now available on DVD.
Max Headroom was a stuttering computer character from Britain who was portrayed by actor Matt Frewer. Max made numerous appearances throughout his reign, which included The Max Headroom Show, Commercials, MTV and even video games. The background story provided for the Max Headroom character presents a dystopic look at a run-down near-future dominated by television and large corporations. Ah, only could you find whacked out crap like this in the 80’s. So I only  have one question. Where’s the BLU BLU BLU BLU BLU BLU-RAY?

Created as a concept car, the Citroën Karin was shown at the Paris Motor Show in 1980. The car and its unique shape was designed by Trevor Fiore.
The futuristic design is reminiscent of the DeLorean, but with the pyramid shape the Karin has, it is far superior. The angular design is very uncommon and the straight lines are also echoed throughout the interior. Designed as a 3 passenger car, the center-mounted steering wheel allows the driver to sit just behind the two passengers.
Fact is, this fine automobile is a thing of brilliance and I need one.

Headstone City will be appearing at Saturday Nightmares in Jersey City, NJ. The show will be at the Landmark Loews Jersey Theatre from Friday March 19th to Sunday March 21st. In addition to debuting new horror t-shirts designs, Headstone City will also have a free shirt contests, giveaways and sales on all t-shirts.

Saturday Nightmares has a pretty nice lineup of guests which include: George A. Romero, the cast from Dawn of the Dead, Adrienne Barbeau and many more. There will also be screenings of Creepshow, Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. Anyone in the metropolitan area should stop on by, it’s sure to be a blast. See you there!

I hope you’re not tired of the 3-D movies that Hollywood keeps rolling our way – because it isn’t going to stop any time soon. Word is that Ridley Scott plans to film the new Alien prequel in 3-D. Conan O’Brien certainly has gotten the shaft. His show will now be moved to the 12:05 slot, to accommodate Jay Leno’s show at 11:35. It’s not surprising to see this typical stupidity from companies like NBC.
Anyway….Check this poster out! Based upon the famous Esquire cover of Muhammad Ali, we have Conan being barraged with arrows. At closer inspection, you can see that the feathers on the arrows are NBC logos. Very clever.

Never in a galaxy far far away did I ever think this would exist. That’s right, it’s the Tauntaun Sleeping Bag. So here we have it. Freddy is the last of the remakes from all the major 80’s horror icons. Yes, yes, I know I know….another remake. Will they ever stop with these? Doubtful.
Anyway, they’ve released a trailer for the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” remake. I like the first shots of the parents chasing down Freddy into the abandoned warehouse. I’m also digging the shots of Freddy’s silhoutte in the boiler room. But other than that, I’m not too impressed. The shot in the bathtub is identical to Craven’s original. Are we going to have another remake that carbon copies every scene? With Jackie Earle Haley there is some potential. But I’ll tell you one thing…I’m definitely not digging Freddy’s burnt face. He looks like a cross between Cronenberg’s mask from “Nightbreed” and a cute doll a child might have.
