Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Vs. The Breakfast Club

I completely forgot about this little gem until a friend recently sent it to me. I’m sure most of you have seen this before but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve a posting. Look at Leatherface with his raised fist! Hilarious!
It’s an interesting poster for a horror film and I always wondered what the deal was. The characters obviously posed for the photo. Did they go to mall to get some glamour shots? You never see Pinhead posing for studio photos with the rest of the Cenobites. What the filmmakers were thinking when they did this is anybody’s guess. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 does have a black comedy/satire feel to it. So maybe they were just following through with the theme of the film. Or maybe they hated The Breakfast Club and just wanted to do a parody of the poster. Whatever the reason, life is just that much better because this exists.
