….again. That’s right, this is our second Friday the 13th this year. We also have another one slated for the second week of November. There’s no stopping them!
Anyway, there is also another horror remake opening (surpise, surpise). Opening tonight is the remake of the Wes Craven classic The Last House on the Left. The trailer actually looks like it might be good. But I can’t stop laughing when I see the guy with his head in the microwave. I just find that hysterical, cooking his brain like that. They must have rigged the door to stay open while it’s frying his cerebrum. Major radiation leakage there.
But that got me thinking about microwaves and so I did a little research and found some random facts. In 1947 the Radarange was built. This was the world’s first microwave. It was 6 feet tall, weighed 750 pounds and cost about $5,000 each!
But that got me thinking even more. Microwave Massacre‘s artwork is so much cooler than the movie itself!
That is what happens when I try to cook.
What the hell is that thing sticking out of the head? I looks like a wall mount of a lamp or something. “This is a registered Trademark of Select-A-Type” Also note what level the head has been cooked at “Well Done” hahaha gotta love it
