Horror Stickers

Last week I was down in my crypt looking for my lucky scalpel and I stumbled upon some old horror stickers. I hadn’t seen these things in years! Man are they cool. I especially love the 80’s prism that stylishly borders each one.
I remember when I was a boy at Doctors In Training Day Camp. We would visit the bowling alley every Friday. I’d go there, play a few games and stop on over at the sticker machine. I’d put 50 cents into the machine and pull out a piece of cardboard with an unknown prize sticker inside. The bowling alley only sold them for one summer. Too bad. I would have loved to collect more.

I’ve posted some here. Be sure to check back in the coming weeks for the remainder of my horror sticker collection.

  1. OMG those stickers rock. Yeah the cardboard would come out and the sticker would be inside. Those were awesome. I remember that after being stuck on something outside awhile they would just flake away!! hahah great post can’t wait to see the rest!

  2. I remember those stickers too! I had a bunch of’em on the steamer trunk I carried back and forth to college with all of my crap in it. I had the “Return of the Living Dead” sticker you have pictured here, as well as “Slaughter High” and a couple of others that I can’t remember off the top of my head… think I got them out of a vending machine @ K-Mart of all places… good memories!!

  3. wow, wow , wow.

MONKEY SHINE! I had a little “doll” monkey with the clanging claps. Just like the monkey shine monkey. I never thought in a million years I’d see these stickers, lol. I love the internet!

Blast from the past, thanks for posting these and making me laugh and smile. I am feeling like a kid with the Freddy Sticker… lol.

  4. yeah, you and everyone else. They are impossible to find. I was just lucky that they never got thrown out when I was a kid.
